It's
just -- I don't know. It was just incredible to watch
all this unfold yesterday, and as a result, folks, there's
an obvious temptation to gloat. ... I understand the desire
to be jubilant, go ahead and be jubilant, but don't go
nah-nah-nah-nah. Don't do it, don't descend to that level,
Mr. Snerdley. You know, after these two years, look where
we are, and look how we did not descend to their level
in order to attack them and to beat 'em...Look at what
we learned. Character counts.
"Did you see -- if we can believe it from the exit
polls -- that the vast majority of people said that moral
issues are most important? You ought to hear the liberals
on that, folks, they are panicked, they don't understand
this morality business."

Al
Franken is right. Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot. He's also
a documented racist and drug addict. What amazes us is that he
has a show, and an audience, and that his opinions are taken seriously
by anyone at all. Our mission is clear. We must present a compelling
and honest alternative - and drown out these venal lies with the
truth.

appears to have won by 3%. By comparison, Clinton beat Dole by almost
9%, and Nixon swept McGovern by 23%. Three percent is better, however,
than negative half a point, Bush's 2000 margin. Josh

Because
of their reliability and accuracy, exit polls are often used by
international monitors when corruption is suspected. Makes
you wonder... |

This
is patently absurd and offensive. One might look at deeds rather
than bluster: robbing from the poor to give to the rich? The killing,
the senseless war? The throwing of stones? We on the left enjoy
being lectured on our morals by a draft dodging, drug addled racist.
This is the guy who said that Donovan McNabb was only considered
a good quarterback because he's black, and Abu Ghraib was only some
MP's blowing off steam. We think Al Franken's right again about
this guy. |

Bush clearly won this election. On an insidious campaign based on
character assassination and disinformation. They mobilized
more voters than we did. That doesn't mean that there exists and
sweeping mandate or broad based coalition for his disastrous war,
and insane agenda that he is about to ram down our throats. We all
knew the wingnuts would over reach in their gloating. Limbaugh proves
this in his graceless gloating.
